NEWSFLASH!

OK...the jig is up.I purposely left up the last post so anybody that pops in can see who is responsible for my totally awesome blog.OMG...am I bragging?Yup,I suppose I am (sorry),but Letti absolutely worked wonders w/my dull blog...not to mention the fact that I wreaked havoc trying to add Haloscan.As a result losing all comments added dating back to 2002.Many thanks from me and I'm sure Letti too for the props,btw.
We (B.and I)finally found a place to move to,and I am thrilled! It's on the lake,with a dock included!You can walk out the backdoor about 15 steps and you are in the lake(that is if you don't put on the brakes).The packing/moving process is always a bummer,but I love the decorating part.It's not a HUGE lake,but it's big.You can swim,fish,go boating.I just love it.I am so incredibly excited about how we pay our electric bill.There are only 3 towns in Texas that have this thing called a SMART BOX.It's proven that is waaay more cost efficient than getting a month to month electic bill.That's why cities don't want it,I'm guessing.It's a box about the size of an answering machine,that you plug into the wall.You are given 2 smart-cards to load....basically like a cell phone that you add minutes to,but the difference being---you don't get over charged! You can press a button and actually see how much electricity you are useing daily.Our place is not as big as the one I live in now,plus the hot water heater is propane,as well as the heating.Of course this means you have to keep propane in the tank.The last person that lived there left the propane tank with 81% left in it,so that's one less bill.This time of year,the electric will approximately run around $2-$3(give or take) a day in such a smaller place,I'm told.Another person useing the SMART Box owns a 1,700 foot sq. home with 3 people in their family,and their box shows they are useing $4 a day.Of course when it gets hot,you can imagine it will take a leap,I'm sure.All you do is go to one of the designated places(sorta like an ATM) and add anywhere from $5-$300,and go home,slip the card in and out of the box,and your re-loaded.The guy w/ the SMART box told me his bill was double all year round useing the pay by the month way.
Anyways....if I were in another town,I believe I would petition,or whatever it took to get our community that SMART Box.Sometimes my phone bill,and light bill,gas,and water bills seem to be putting the screws to people(self included).Example:I haven't spent much time at all at home,nor anybody else...but yet I get the same $79 water bill that I usually get when I am here washing loads of clothes,washing my car,showering,etc....where is the logic in THAT? Nobody was here to even use water!Hmmph!?
OK....enough about bills.I'm just tickled to death about moving on the lake.I mean...BY the lake.Yipppeee! Plus I am moving alot closer to my friend CJ.Yahooo!She's glad,but I don't think her other half will be too thrilled(awwww.sure hate it)....NOT.
I have my muscle and truck and trailer lined up for tomorrow,so I really need to get on top of getting things boxxed up.
If I miss popping in on my blogger faves...please know you are not forgotten.I'm just up to my ears in work and moving,plus the transfer of my internet is sorta up in the air at this point.But don't think I can't log in at any library,till things are straight. :-)
