Seen my "broke-neck" doctor

I forgot to mention how I wound up w/ those few days of freedom yesterday.
Well,I went and spent the night w/ my sister cuz my car I "Shouldn't have bought"...is still in the shop.So I spent the night at my sisters b/c she doesn't wake up till noonish(lol)and I HAD to be at my doctor appt. about my neck to find out if I am gona have to go back to the hospital w/ this broken neck crap.I thought for sure my neck would be ok by now...but it's not.I have to go back for surgery to fuse my bones back together.Otherwise a hard blow to my head can cause me to be paralyzed.I don't have a date schedualed yet....would you even believe I have to wait on my insurance to go thru? That part pissed me off,b/c what if something happens between now and the time I get approved or disapproved?Oh,I have to wear the smaller neck collar now.....at least it's not that awful full body(forehead to waste contraption)....but,to me,the way I seen it,was...."let's take a chance on u getting paralyzed while we wait to get payed for your surgery"!! Am I wrong for feeling this way? I mean...I DO realize he's probably performed alot of surgeries and never recieved payment b/c the patient didn't follow thru w/ the medical insurance appt.'s or whatever...but this just seems odd to me,that he would say,keep the collar on,b/c any kind of harsh blow and I'll never walk....but yet,I have to wait on my appt. to get insured!Is this fair?~~~~~Bummer.
Nuff said on that.My kitty is climbing my shoe holder like a tree,right now! It's so funny.It's one of those thingy's that hold 18 pairs of shoes,and hangs half way down the wall....she is hilarious to watch!This morning I got up and she was lounging on this roll out desk beside my keyboard and mouse---it's funny cuz there is VERY little space between everything to squench down in there and lay! ha ha
I never have been real fond of cats AT ALL....at least not until I got Jiggy(the last cat that disappeared).She had to be an outside cat when I moved back from Houston,cuz she was pregnant!She disappeared right before time to have her kitties.We think the wolves or coyotes may have smelled her breast milk...I dunno,but I swore I would NEVER get another one...but when I layed my eyes on Callie......that's her new name.The rest is history.lol
