My daughters boyfriend called to get me to plead w/ Rayven to slow down.OMIGOSH! She's so hard-headed when it comes to telling her anything. She still wants to run the roads....sneak in clubs, and drink to oblivion. All I seem to see is DANGER up ahead,as she is too young to be passing out when she pulls in the driveway, while trying to get out of the car!Not to mention she could kill someone driving drunk,or get a DWI.
Great! Another Tammi-Stresser.Just what I need.
Ohhhh Rayven...WAKE UP baby! Please don't make the same mistakes I did at that age!
But I don't understand what the guy thinks I can do.She's got to where she doesn't want to hear my preaching. So I've tried to approach it at a different angle...I STILL get nowhere. She's fallen prey to the stripper money,JUST LIKE I DID,and SWEARS she WILL NOT work a minimum wage job.BELIEVE ME! I understand what she's talking about. It's hard as hell to go from $200-$300 on a Tues. night....to working 5-6 nights a week (40 lonnnng hours)and only clearing $250-$300.But the dancing world is such a terrible manipulative way of making $$.Ohhh,I'm too discouraged to go into detail.PLUS,she's NOT working at the place where I worked ,where the "DO NOT TOUCH a DANCER" Policy is upheld. She works at a manhandling(against the law,BTW) place, and I DESPISE everything they stand for! Otherwise they wouldn't allow any touching of the girl's WHATSOEVER!
But....I just hope this settled down ,Automotive Business owner will not give up on her.He paid for her a little house. She wanted it furnished,he hired a team to do the furnishing, plus all the other endless things she requested...he filled them Even tho it's only material stuff,I know....but I see he's trying so hard to cater to her every need,so that hopefully she'll change her mind and stay at home. But she's young and can't sit still.Sounds JUST like me at that age! Scarey!
Ohhh Rayven! Slow your row, gal! Theses all night party's and running the roads aren't gona get your life settled.
OKAY..I'm thru venting.
Toodles.....Tammi

There is nothing worse than seeing someone you care about making the same mistakes you did, no wonder you are stressed out.
Came over via Sarah's blog.
oh no! i'm so sorry to hear about that..growing up is a tough time, and she should be more appreciative of your efforts to help her get back on track...i hope you manage to get thru to her and it all turns out well in the end.
