Nearest Book
This is one of those dumb blog games, but I'm always a sucker for dumb blog games. I got this one from http://www.bastique.com/blog/archives/2005/02/nearest_book.html#comments
1.Grab the nearest book.
2.Open the book to page 123.
3.Find the fifth sentence.
4.Post the text of the sentence in your journal...along with these instructions.
5.Don't search around and look for the "coolest" book you can find. Do what's actually next to you.
"Her emotional pleadings touched Leanord,and he agreed to look for him". That is the closest book to me,pg 123,the 5th sentence....."Buried Memories" (the chilling true story of Betty Lou Beets,the Texas Black Widow) hmmm....interesting game.
