HAIR TODAY GONE TOMORROW Just Took aunt Merrille to the beauty shop.Good grief it's amazing what a GOOD hairdresser can do! Amazing! lol
I do miss doing hair tho.It was sad that I chose the stripper money as opposed to a lifelong career in hair.Living for the moment has a price sometimes....I paid the ultimate,I think, when I wound up in prison,b/c had I NOT been in prison,I could have re-newed my dang Barber license.I could have sent the $$ order, but the infirmary wouldn't send my physical to Austin.I think that rule should be changed,b/c that caused me to lose my livlihood for good....People shoud be able to keep their trade while incarcerated, especially if they plan on putting you back on the street. Now,if you were doing life or got the death penalty,I'm not too sure you would be needing your license..lol (I know....not too funny).I can take another test/haircut/shave....but I took the original test when I was 19.Do I remember what was on the written test?? Nope...lol..Not a thing.Maybe I'll take a refresher course.Maybe not.But the best $$ was when I worked in El Paso, close to the military base at a barber shop called "California Concepts" zipping out military cuts all day...fewer perms and colors...I liked that better than working in a femme shop all day.
Aunt Merrilles hairdresser is cool.I love gay guys that sound sorta femme when they talk.I say: "Be who you wanna be....it's your world"!!
