This is un-freak-in-believable.The day before I was gona go to be w/ my family & bury my precious cousins ashes by his Mom(my Aunt)...I did THIS to my eyeball and had to go to the Emergency Room.AND FOR WHAT? ALL they did was put ONE drop of pain reliever in my eye to do the test,and just wrote a script for painpills and antibiotic eye drops! I asked could I have those amazing pain reliever drops and was told "no b/c they will ruin my eyes for sure"! I was like...SO! I won't use them that much but,she quickly pocketed them and ran w/ them! I should have tackled her for those damn things in hindsight!Right now my eye is so sensative to the light I have a hoody and one of those face masks w/ 2 eye holes,a mouth hole,and have my scratched eye covered.(looking like I'm gona rob a bank...but the light puts me 2 my knees.I'm in a 39 degree room in the dark,cept the light on my computer.Something about the cool air lessens the got-awful pain.
The worse pain is I couldn't even ride in a car,muchless drive my car to go to the burial so I'm pretty sad this morning.
All I can say is "Rest in Peace big guy.I'll earn my angel wings too and see you up there when it's my time as well.I just wish I could have been there for my other family members and at least got to say my own goodbyes to ya"!I had JUST spoke to my cousin Bev and was also looking forward to seeing her and my other family members that live so far away.I love ya'll if you are reading this,and I wish I could have made it.I road in the floorboard to the E.R. sqeeling like I'd been shot in the eye instead of cut & abrased...or else I would have surely been there.
These pics are pretty nasty,and I was yelping when they were taken...but at least you'll know why I couldn't come.
YOU WOULD THINK I WOULD HAVE LEARNED FROM THE LAST INCIDENT! CEPT' THIS TIME,I HAD TO GO TO THE E.R.....I THOUGHT MY EYEBALL WAS GONA POP OUT OF MY HEAD!

I scratched my eye when I was a kid. They put a patch over it. Make one out of gauze and tape it on. I'm sure it will help.
Oooooooooooooooooooooh...dayum...that sucketh muchly. I can remember having a damn eyelash stuck in my eye once and, everytime I blinked, it felt like sandpaper.
Best thing to do...sleep. It should be okay by the time you're awake.
...and cold compresses over the eyes.
Yes and wear them glasses for awhile instead of the contacts!! The Gauze and cold compresses will help babe.
THat really sucks that you didn't get to go say your goodbyes to you cousin.
I am sure your family will understand when they see that rwed thing in your head.
So........a bright light to the eyes gets you down on your knees.

How on this good earth did you scratch your eye like that??? My goodness woman.. I hope it heals quickly for you.. I agree with BTE make a home made patch.. It will help. Look a bit funny but would rather look funny than hurting the eye anymore..
