Finally some good news

I've just been busy,out of town,and just down right not feeling like processing my thoughts here like I usually do.Really,I have always kept some sort of diary/journal since I've been a teenager...so this is odd for me to just throw in the towel for so long.
Well,I'm out of my shell now and back to my usual chatter-box self...Speaking of that,I just seen a co-worker that I used to work with a while back.I was at the gas pump getting gas and I kept hearing (what I thought) was "Jackie! Jackie! Jackie"!! Then it dawned on me when I seen who was yelling,that she was yelling at ME "Yakky,Yakky"!!! LOL Of course that was her pet name for me cuz we talked probably more than we worked.
Ohh,the good news! I put an ad on Craigs list for a roomate,thinking I'd probably never go through with it anyways.....mainly cuz the last roomy was SUPPOSED to be a friend and wound up being the worste roomate you could imagine.You name it...it happened.Drunken fights w/ BF,theft,left oweing..crap ,it was a total madhouse here.
Anyways,this lady is a phlebotomist,so you know she's disease and drug free.She takes blood at a blood bank...wait,she explained that it's not really the blood they are taking,but the plasma?in the blood.Something like that.Anyways,she's smart,pretty,neat and tidy,non-smoker,she even gets a 10 in her taste in clothes!(lol...not that clothes were even an issue)lol... she's just really an awesome person in general.Actually I didn't put the ad to find a family,or a new friend or anything like that.I just thought an extra few $$'s a week would be fair and useful.It's a good deal though,cuz instead of motel fees or somewhere else..she's already set with wi-fi,cable w/ all the premium channels,phone w/ no long distance,her own bathroom,spacious,washer/dryer,etc..etc...Her room is not so big,and its not like she's got a whole top floor of a 2 story house..and the bathroom isn't even connected to her room,but she doesn't seem to mind.She's even added lots of pretty stuff all around the house...from plants to watt-knots...not to mention I loooove her lil cat "Mitten".Being the chatter-box that I am,I struggle not to momopolize her time w/ me being yakky yakky....but she's just as cheerful and chatty too...so it's all good.Anyways,I met a few people and it seemed like all at once 4 people were waiting on me to call back,and I felt so bad having to say no to the others',but she started talking,she just seemed to out-shine everyone,and I think maybe even more responsible.We'll see.I don't have any doubts at all though,really.
Shoot,where was this kind of deal when I was looking for a place ,after my breakup w/ the X?LOL
Please forgive me for being selfish and not peeping in on my blogger friends...you know who you are....but I just haven't been myself or up to snuff lately and just haven't taken the time to pop in on you.Hope you can forgive me,if it matters anyways...LOL...
Darn,the dryer is beeping...meaning "take out the clothes before they wrinkle"...I wonder if I'm the only one obsessed with that pet peave? ;-} Or maybe it's just that I'd rather not have to iron the clothes,besides the ones that usually get ironed.Hmmm...
