I have searched the web/google and just all over the web looking for a quick fix to this problem that usually starts my day off with an attitude.For some wierd reason,my coffee pot has been acting a total a*** lately! I get up,and before I brush my teethe,etc..etc....I start a pot of coffee.Then as soon as I smell that awesome smell of fresh brewed coffee,I go pour a cup full,add my Equal and creamer...then when I'm about to finish the 1st cup,I have been noticing coffee grounds at the bottom of my cup.Crap!! So I started running it through a strainer into a clear glass and then back into my favorite coffee cup,but there are STILL tiny little grounds that go through the strainer...and it's annoying the crap out of me.
Solution: Buy a new one....but I don't want to....this one is fairly new! No it's not an expensive fancy coffee pot,it's a basic standard size that uses the regular size coffee filters....so what's up with this? I would take it back,but I can't find the reciept...and then two:what's to say the next one I buy doesn't do this too?
OMG!! I fell asleep in this big-oh chair and just woke up w/ keyboard letters imprinted on my forehead.Cough meds and Xanax.I have a headache,can't swallow(heyyy! Can't swallow saliva,that is!)my ears feel so closed up its like I'm high in an airplane,and I don't even wanna talk about what I'm barely coughing up(gross)!!!Yup,as bad as I hate to think this....THIS is how it always starts.The calm before the storm.If I don't get my ass into to Dr.Feelgood for antibiotics,then I will prolly wind up yet another 2 weeks in the hospital w/ pneumonia,that is...if my doctor doesn't send me there anyways.Cuz this is the way it ALWAYS starts.Nooo baby no! Everytime those needle pokers get me in there,I wind up being there two weeks later.So (crossing my fingers)maybe my doctor will prescribe meds before my lungs fill up again and I wind up on lockdown in the hospital.
What happened to the days when I had plenty of cool shit to blog about? I started out trying to find a way to fix my pain in the ass coffee pot,and woke up trying to figure out the best way to fix my own ass before I go through another bout in that torture chamber of a hospital...crap...to be continued:

Wow..I just logged on and noticed my coffee pot post wasn't there...I went to edit,and there it was in the "draft" place....how did you read this? Blogspot glitche? Or ya think it was a Tammi glitche? Maybe waking up with my head on this keyboard confused me.....?hmmm?

I was going to ask if you are tilting your filter when putting it in the pot?? Just a suggestion or spilling coffee in the coffee part when putting it in the filter??
Anyway hope you feel better soon. I hate going to Dr's also but sometimes you just have to esp when you need them like it sounds like you do.
Hope your coffee pot blues get cured quick - as well as your other issues!

I've tried several ways to stop this.Wetting the sides so they stick to the side of the filter holder.Drying it all night and doing it dry.Being verrrry careful not to tilt the coffee maker,or spill water in the thingy...but it STILL gives me a cup with grounds in it..so..??

I would be glad to lay hands on you babe. Fix the coffee pot too. maybe soon gotta have surgery first though.
I don't drink coffee so all i can say is maybe you need a new filter.
If you don;t have one maybe some cotton panties would do but I wouldn't wear them to the doctors office after because they'd have one hell of a brown stain on them.
