What to do?

Yes,I DID say that I absolutely loooove the newest addition to my house--BUT! I have to retract that.I mean,I really really DO love this little precious pekingese China, but I feel like a monster leaving her at home alone for so long by herself.Plus there's the little gifts she leaves me on the floor when I do get back.Since my carpet is dark blue in the living room, her blonde hair is a REAL drag to keep off the carpet--ALL morning AND when I get home at night. The vaccum doesn't even want to pick it all up either! So I am in a REAL pickle now. Rayven gave her to me cuz she couldn't keep her at her really swanky townhouse(according to the owner)....so I feel like an ass wanting to find her a good home.Darn,I just KNOW it's gona hurt Rayvens feelings if I get rid of her,and little A'millions' too (maybe)...or at least knowing my daughter --she may even throw in the A'million card at me on this disagreement--->but this just borders on inhumane if you ask me.I even smell a dog when I get home, and I'm not being mean(I hope)........but I'm not real kean on my house smelling like a kennel.
As you can see from the pics recently,I am beeming with joy over getting her,but NOW,well......I'm confused as hell about what to do now.I really WANT to keep her,but just yesterday on my way to work,AS USUAL,I forget at least 3-5 things each time I try to leave...so everytime I would come back in the house to get something little China would be so happy and bouncing around so cheerful, squatting down on her front 2 feet like she's playing w/ me---and all I could say was "don't get too excited pup,I just forgot my book"! Then have to go right back out again slamming the door in her face.Crud,I'm in a real jam.I don't want to hurt Rayvens' feelings, but I really just don't think I'm being fair to the little puppy.
UPDATE: CAN U PLZZ VOTE ON MY NEW POLL(CASEY ANTHON CASE)
and it would be too cool if you would add your pin on my site map on the right....pretty please!!(that's me begging)

Well do you have an enclosed area you could put the pup in while you're away? Just trying to be helpful.

You can train her not to do her busiless in the house.
Or you can train her to use a litter box.
Teach her to wer a diaper
Staple her butt.

Yu do what you got to do to be happy, thats what matters.
Just be happy its not a pot belly pig.
But then again thats Bbq country LOL

Oh dear. Do you upset your daughter or have a doggy house??

I'm sure if you explained to your daughter, she'd understand. There's bound to be some lonely soul who would love the company of this little dog.

I hope you find an answer to your dilemma, Tammi. Good luck!

I agree that you have to do what you feel is right for you. Don't worry about going back several times. That many more times for the puppy to get all happy!
Love Walker's comments! :) Also, talk to your daughter. Maybe she has a friend that can take the dog. It is really her responsibility and it's not fair to dump it on you. If she wants to keep the dog, she'll have to find a place where she can have pets.

Don't feel bad to give it a better home. They are inside dogs that require a lot of work. Seems perfect for someone retired. You can reduce hair issues, by having it cut short, but even then, they shed A LOT and really should have a daily brushing.
