My roomate is in ICU,and on life support. She has been suffering w/ a heart condition for a while now,and a few days ago,she fell down and couldn't get back up,she was just so weak. Her daughter and I picked her 100 pound body up and layed her on the couch.Called her visiting nurse and shecame over, took her vitals and said that "her blood pressure was really low and she just needed rest".I simply said "Ma'am,I'm not trying to tell you how to do your job,but Ms.B. doesn't look right AT ALL,and I want to take her to the E.R.,or call an ambulance"! So her daughter and I agreed and I called an ambulance. She barely got to the hospital before she went into a coma state, and then put on life support. That day she DID have some brain activity. As of last night, there is no brain activity at all.Her daughter flew in from California, and other family members are staying here at the house until her wishes are carried out. She's specifically asked NOT to be left on life support more than 3 days. Her heart just gave out.The sad part is she is only 61 years old. It's a sad day here for her her family, friends and of course myself.I guess God has His reasons.
UPDATE:
Mamie Lou Powell Bridges,my roomate got her Angel Wings at 3:22 p.m.
Arrangements will be made tomorrow for those that know and love her.May you rest in Peace Ms.B....we love you and will miss you so so much.

I am sorry to hear about your room mate Tammi. May she rest in peace. Take care x x x
Thanks so much for all the kind words and concern everybody.
She ad I didn't always see eye-2-eye,but we always seemed to blow things off and move on...I suppose it's like most ppl would tell me....h stayed at home ALL the time cept' for an occassional trip to the store or pharmacy...and I basically had a life.
She DID leave this world at peace w/ me and the other peeps that always called her stuff like grumpy....She was just Mamie. That grumpy stuff I think was just an act most all the time.I learned to live w/ it,though, cuz she DID have some really cool ways that some ppl didn't see.
