DIVERSITY PROJECT

Wow,I didn't realize it has been so long since I've posted or blog surfed! Wow.I suck,huh?OK...don't answer that.

Wait! Before you shoot!!! I have an explanation.(lol) Well, besides computer freezing probs, which I had fixxed...I have been up to my ears in building a DIVERSITY BOARD at work.Gona post the pic of my handywork and the essay/description of what the 2 boards are about.I did the Diversity board and someone else done the Phoenix one.If I win,I'll win big bucks.Up to $500...but I'm an old school scrapbooker,so it started out fun...THEN became a pain in the ass when the deadline got closer.Btw,the deadline to email corp the pics and essay is none other than Tues.,Sept 30th...Yup...TODAY.I don't see how your gona be able to see the teeny-tiny little tedious things I done just by looking at THIS picture.UuGH!You really can't see and read all the neat-o things fellow employees had to say speaking on Diversity.Anyways...I "X"d out the name of my job, which is sorta throwed off cuz you can basically get an idea of what I do for a living.LOL (duhh-ding-ding)
Here's my brilliant essay:
Here at xxxxxxxx of Tyler Texas,we strive to make all of our guests feel at home.No matter what their age, ethnicity, gender, physical abilities or qualities, race, sexual orientation, educational background, geographic location, income, marital status, parental status, religious beliefs, work experience, or job classification may be.
In the midst of change, our fellow employees, as well as our guests are treated like family. Diversity brings a harmonious relationship between our team here at xxxxx. We respect each others' ability to listen to each others' needs and ideas. Our strengths compliment each other's abilities. Working together and understanding our differences makes us one. One team. One goal.
Just as the definition of the "Phoenix " ,which is the mythical fable of the bird that rose from it's ashes, and also symbolizes rebirth and renewal. It signifies the reinvention of xxxxx and the re-establishing of it's position as the uncontested leader in price value. We are also striving to make our xxxxxx a more beautiful and comfortable place to stay .True to the spirit of xxxxxx, the new design is simple, functional and straight to the point.
Our Phoenix project simply shows our desire to not only make our guests feel at home in our newly renovated locations, but also proudly showing the beauty and excellence that xxxxxx is about.

Nice, very nice! Now that should win you the big bucks today! I "bigged" it to take a closer look--lots of work went into it, for sure. I like your essay, too!

So glad to see you're out & about 'visiting'. If you were to actually show up at my door I wouldn't put you to work though, I'd be too busy hugging the stuffin out of you cos I've been so worried about you. Glad everything is ok.
