I met a guy recently.Ohhh my gosh,out of all the guys that come through my job and sometimes try and get my digits,or make stupid remarks,like "can you walk back over there so I can get another look at you"...just dumbass stuff like that.THIS guy was the exact opposite.He came in from out of town,and I wound up striking up a civil conversation w/ him and that was 2 weeks ago,and we are STILL talking.Even though he has moved on,and is NOW in California...he works for a company that travels state to state putting up the showcase things for Lowe's and various Lowe's work.Stable job,stable guy.
Sparks flew from the moment we started talking.Nothing physical,at all....but he is awesome.Cute.Smart.Easy-going.And knows just what to say to keep my attention.
Am I crazy?
Yes,he could be a nut in reality...but I don't get that feeling AT ALL.
He has passed every goofy test that I have put him through.
Example: I say "what if I wanted to quit my job and dance for a living again?"....and instead of getting the usual "SURE...I can help u spend that $200 plus dollars a day"(moreless) reaction...Although,what is usually said is "I know your grown,you can dance if u want"...but in my experience,the "I can help u spend that...." is what they are REALLY thinking...usually.I figure this...if a guy really cares enough about ME...he doesn't WANT me to show my body to anybody but HIM.Others have different views.But that's my way of thinking.
NOT that I am entertaining the idea of dancing again...daammmn,those days are SO OVER!
But to get a feel of how a person thinks,I use THAT as a sort of test question.He's managed to pass ALL of my tricky questions.
He just seems so PERFECT and obviously crazy about me......he lives about 2 hours away from me in Louisiana....but isn't home that often.Matter of fact,he'll be in California for a few months before he gets a break to go home.They have to do ALL the Lowe's in Cali. before getting a break.
Bummer.I've even thought about useing my vacation days and going to California for a week or so.
Am I putting too much into this?He is SOOOOO different than any Tom,Dick,or Harry that I meet with the same ol' lines and b.s.
I don't know if there is such a thing s love at first sight...but I DO believe in there being a connection at first sight...or no connection.Spark or no spark,and this spark is turning into a HUGE flame.
He's all I think about(besides my lil AJ and kiddo's,of course).Oh,and he has daughters with baby's and looooves his little ones as well!!
We had a whole 2 days in person to get to know each other,and he never tryed the let's roll in the hay number.Such a gentleman.

He sounds great, Tammi. I have a great one as well. Believe it or not, he's an Okie but he's just like yours...he lets me know he doesn't share PERIOD. And he's been my rock through my diagnosis and my family's loss this week.

If he passed your tests then I guess you found something worth looking into and 2 hours away is not really that far.
MONICA~~Your guy MUST be awesome.Because,no matter HOW much bacon you can bring home...he still isn't the sharing type,and I can't get that through my daughters' head.Guys just use her cuz Walker,she DOES make $500-$1,000 at a time.When I say $200 plus,that's just a weak way of saying that a man is willing to give up his ownership rights and let someone gawk at you for $200 plus.....PLUS being the KEY word.LOLCan't think of many nights I ever made that shitty type of money,I was just being sarcastic.
