MOVING RIGHT ALONG.....

I couldn't imagine talking about anything in my life more important than my last post...so I left it up as long as possible so everyone can see what an incredibly happy "Mee-Mee" I am.Just the mere opportunity to have been able to be there to see my precious lil grandbaby being born,has to be one of the most AWESOME things I've ever experienced.He's such a sweetheart....and as soon as I go get my computer,I'll post some pix.Since he's over 2 weeks old now,you can see what he really looks like.I mean,as you know,a newborns features change drastically in the first month.Now he's so bright eyed and bushy-tailed.I just wanna give him sugers all over his lil cheeks,but my daughter won't let anybody close enough to his face to give him a kiss.ha ha I guess you can never be too careful.But between you and me...I snuck in a smooch on his soft lil cheeks when I fed him.Don't cha' just love the way a baby smells?
Now,for the crazy thing I done yesterday.OK-I knew I had a UTI (urinary tract infection),and my daughter had some antibiotics (penicillan)that the doctor had given her a while back for the same thing.Well,I took one yesterday.OMG!!! First I started feeling like a piece of bacon frying in a pan,and my skin felt like it was burning and itching so bad,my sculptured nails were literally clawing every inch of my body.THEN...all of a sudden I felt my throat swelling.It got to the point to where when I called my Mom,she could barely figure out what I was saying.I couldn't catch a breath...so anyways I ran to my neighbors house and they freaked when they seen how my body was so flushed RED ALL OVER,and I couldn't hardly talk.They understood the words E.R. though,and off we go.I rushed in and they immediately started trying to get a vein,when two sticks didn't get it fast enough,she went ahead and rammed that big needle right into the vein in the right side of my neck,and put in something to help me breath,and put the I.V. there.I've never been so scared in my life.I just knew my throat was gona completely close.Oh,and I forgot to mention,the nurse trying to give me a straight shot of something missed my freakin vein,and I KNEW it was hurting like hell,but I couldn't tell her,luckily another nurse yelled"INFULTRATION"!!So now my left hand is swollen and bandaged.It looks like I have a baseball mit on my hand.I didn't care if they had to cut my throat open,I just wanted to catch a breath.
Long story short they wound up giving me benadryl and some other stuff in my IV and I could hardly keep my eyes open...but at least it stopped my skin from feeling like it was melting off.I went home,straight to bed,and got up at 9:30,showered and went to work my usual 11p.m.-7a.m.shift looking like I felt.Shitty!Then as if that weren't bad enough,my computer at work went down a few times,and the credit card machine was not working right,had to call 911 when several people called and complained about the noise.OK--I guess I can tell you.I work at a motel,nightshift mostly.....and I get alot of drunken dummies that obviously can't handle their alcahol.If we don't call someone,or if I can't leave the desk to warn them,then naturally we have to call the police.Otherwise we lose money having to give refunds because of the b.s.I know it's not safe,but I DO try to go and warn them,if I can't reach them by phone.I'm not really supposed to go warn them...it could get ugly and I might wind up in the line of fire,so to speak.Like the girl that was wielding a big kitchen butcher knife last week,and useing it to slash her b/f's tires cuz he was cold busted w/ another woman.When I tryed to tell her complaints are coming in left and right,she started cussing me out.So I said "OK,don't say I didn't warn you"and went and called the cops.Some may call that chicken shit,but I'm not gona lose my job over people demanding refunds b/c they couldn't sleep.
Anyways...this wound up being one HUGE post.Hope I haven't put you to sleep.
Now,off to go do some more skin burning.LOL.I use the tanning lotion in the tanning bed that has "tingle" in it...and if you've ever used it,you'll never forget it.It DOES accelerate your tan,but your skin really sizzles.But like the old saying goes"no pain,no gain".
