UPDATE ON MOM

Well,my mom went in for a simple outpatient-type proceedure.A stint was supposed to be put in....and wound up having to have open heart surgery.One of her vessels closed down,or something like that,and she wound up having to get her chest opened up for a double bypass.Scared the you-know-what out of us...but she made it through with flying colors.PTL. My mom looks so young and so healthy to even imagine having a heart problem...but I seen young children w/ heart conditions too,so I guess it can happen to any of us.But she's been going nuts cuz my WILD sister moved back home,and is headed down the same path that I went down,and nothing anybody says can stop her.It's a shame to be watching somebody throw their life away.I remember people telling me that I would regret what I was doing later on down the line,when I was her age...I also remember thinking "what the heck,I got time to straighten up and fly right LATER"! Everything was always "tomorrow,I'll worry about it"....and lo and behold many moons later,those things sneak up behind you and bite you in the butt.Bummer.It's like the blonde moment lasted for years instead of moments!Big Duhhhh.
Mom is still in the hospital,and I'll be going back up there today.Now I know how people must have felt watching me lay there unconscious w/ those tubes all in my nose,mouth etc...She's been un-tubed now and talking now,so that's a big relief...I think....lol....Another words she's been on my tail feathers about certain issues (like my daughter) who I have no control over,by the way....but anyways,she's out of I.C.U. and in her own room.Thanks for all the prayers and concern!!
