This is so cool! Last week Ray's sister called me and asked me if I
would help her go pick out a printer w/ a scanner
(combo)cuz she said everyone knows I do alot of
picture printing and stuff w/ pics.....plus being
Easter let's all get together for Easter,not to
mention her son(Ray's nephews birthday)...So my Aunt
and Uncle ,and Ray's HUGE family came. So we go to his sister and hubby's and spend the night.We went early Saturday morning,and then when
Circuit City opened I helped her go in and get an
EXCELLENT and reasonable priced printer/scanner.I told
her it would be my first choice if it were me.So we
had a blast staying up most of Sat. night drinking and
playing dominoes and skip-bo(I only played skip-bo)
and drank my usual...Diet Dr.Pepper.:-{ We barely get any
sleep.then Easter morning,Ray starts BBQ'ind tons of
meat,we make tater salad,Mexican rice,and some more
stuff......Anyways.....everyone came..had a packed
house.I was glad my baby girl showed,cuz they tricked me saying she had OTHER plans (which bummed me out)BUT she DID wind up coming toward the end..Then I was all smiles..Well,we all eat and stuff and as we were getting ready to go home....Ray's nephew tells me to come in the house for a second,and he opened the door,and the lights were all off...then all of a
sudden they came on and everyone started singing
"Happy Birthday" and my dummy self is looking at
Ray's nephew,cuz it was so close to his B-day, and so I'm am also singing Happy Birthday (to him)....THEN I notice it wasn't HIM they were
looking at and singing to,IT WAS ME! ha ha ..while waiting on me to blow out a ton of candles on this cake.Him being only 16,I should
have realized those 100 candles were MINE! lol (only
37) I exxagerated of course.They bring out the big
wrapped box,and guess what the heck was in it??? Yea!
You guessed it! The AWESOME printer/scanner that I was
secretly in my mind wishing like hell at the store I
could get one!!!!!!It never occured to me even once
that they were throwing me a party....cuz of course my
birthday is not till Thurs. the 31st...BIG DUH!
Well....Easter also played a big part too ya know.Wasn't that so cool? Anyways...I just thought I would share that w/ you. Oh....good news.My daughter is going to take her driving test this week.Like a dummy,she put her car she bought in my treacherous sisters'name,so now she can get it in
her own name thank goodness.I'm sure she'll
pass the test.......at least I hope....SHE BETTER,Ray's
daughter is also taking hers too.All 3 of us filed our
taxes together,and I split the money 3 ways between
me,Ray's daughter,and mine.Raychelle done the smart thing
and bought a car out-right,no payments...Rayven bought
a car almost like mine(Kia Sephia)...SAME color(Hunter Green) ,cept newer
model,but she's got car payments!My gosh Rayven is a
size 2 now! TOO DARN SKINNY...while my butt is steady
spreading.lol Anyways,my new/used car is getting a water pump put on it
right this very minute (Honda Prelude)...so I'll be back on the road today or tomorrow.PTL! So watch out fellow drivers.lol Would u believe I had to walk to work one day?? that makes the 2nd time in my life! The first being the time I moved to Deer Park,and had to walk about half way home B-4 my friend caught up w/ me to take me home.Speaking of him....he sure was a nice fella.I hope he's doing good and enjoying his new bride Nannette.
Well...We've been so happy that the weather has let Ray and my Uncle work....now here we go again w/ this rain crap!! It costs them days,cuz it gets too wet to get around w/ all that big machinery and skidders etc...to keep from sinking or sliding,ya know.So hopefully it'll clear up!
Hope everyone is doing o.k.
Was nice chattin w/ my some family members this weekend.As a familyWe really all need to keep our lines of communication open more,huh?
OKAY....So what now?
Damn...Ray has so many different personalities.I could strangle him at times...leave him at other times....or just love him to death at other times!?
Oh the confusion is endless! He really went to alot of trouble to make my B-day extra special...when I would just as soon forget it's even coming.lol
